About us

BUNKS launched in Spring 2017 to make premium quality trunks for boys - the clue's in the portmanteau brand name. 

Because of high demand from men and those seeking matching swimwear for fathers and sons, older brothers and friends BUNKS quickly started offering a men’s collection too.

BUNKS are regularly sold at sales events and pop-up shops in the UK and their unique designs consistently attract those looking for originality. Customers say they are comfortable, light on the skin and quick-drying – the perfect choice for long days in the sun. BUNKS are available for boys from age 3 upwards, with graduating sizing according to age up to age 14. BUNKS for men are available in small, medium, large and extra-large.


BUNKS' founder, Rachel Smith Bingham, wants BUNKS to evoke beach holidays and the ocean in all its moods and hues – with popular designs such as The Palms, Inky Wave, Inky Fish, Starfish, Seaweed and Unda Seagulls.

The bright cord ends make the colours ‘pop’ and bring to mind the fluorescence of underwater life...a starfish, urchin or brightly coloured coral that hovers into view.

Oceans and Eco Aware

Ocean environments are fragile.

To help keep them plastic-free, BUNKS come in biodegradable and re-cyclable plastic packaging and the swing tag can be reused as a luggage label.
